Shawn Gander, CPA, CMA
Founder / CEO
Born and raised in Alberta, Shawn has over 10 years of business & accounting experience, including working for publicly traded companies and a national accounting firm. He loves to help small business owners reduce their accounting headaches so that they can focus on what’s important to them. Shawn has two beautiful daughters and enjoys dirt biking, working out, archery and snowboarding.
Tayler Rodacker, CPA
Manager
Born and raised in the Peace Region, Tayler received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from MacEwan University and spent the first five years of her accounting career working in Grande Prairie for Fletcher Mudryk LLP. Tayler enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball and camping during the summer months.
Melissa Gallant, CPA, CA
Tax Manager
Born and raised in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Melissa has worked in public accounting since 2005 and received her CPA, CA designation in 2012. Melissa also completed CPA Canada's In Depth Tax Specialist program in 2017. She spends a lot of her free time in nature. She loves travelling, running and every animal that she meets.
Kelsey Lesowski
Accounting Technician
Born and raised in B.C, Kelsey has been in Grande Prairie since 2013. She adjusted by living in a blanket, often with a warm beverage in hand. Kelsey has over sixteen years of administrative and bookkeeping experience in several industries, with a strong focus on oilfield, trucking and construction. Kelsey enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading, writing, art and design.
Jayde Penner
Accounting Technician
Born and raised in Northern Alberta (La Crete), Jayde has been in Grande Prairie since 2014. Jayde is working towards a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has several years of bookkeeping experience across a range of industries. He enjoys several hobbies including camping, fishing and hockey. When work gets too stressful, he gets together with his band as a rhythm guitarist!
Haley Hunt
Accounting Technician
Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Haley has been in Grande Prairie since 2013. She has a diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Services. Haley’s favourite places are the beach, the mountains and at home with her family.
Alicja Boron
Accounting Technician
Born and raised in Krakow, Poland, Alicja moved to Canada in 2016 and fell in love with the Rocky Mountains. She has a Business Administration Diploma majoring in accounting and is continuing her education at NWP working towards a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Alicja enjoys travelling, going to the gym, and spending time with her family.
Hayley Lane, QAFP, PFP
Office Rockstar
Hayley has 13 years of banking experience which includes 4 years in management and 2 years as a financial planner. This experience is complimentary to her client facing role as our office rockstar.
Mehak Garg
Accounting Technician
Mehak brings a diverse blend of accounting expertise and international experience to her role. She holds a B.com (Accounting and Finance) from India and a Bachelor’s of Management (Majors in Finance) from Canada. Mehak is passionate about helping businesses maintain accurate records, meet regulatory requirements, and optimize their accounting processes. Her cross-cultural background gives her a unique perspective and adaptability in dynamic business environments. Outside of work, Mehak enjoys cooking Indian cuisine, camping, and spending time with family.
